SAS Who Dares Wins

About

Levi Delvin-Attille’s story created national news headlines when he made his TV debut in Channel 4 action series SAS Who Dares Wins in January 2023. During some of the toughest moment of the gruelling Special Forces contest, he revealed his recovery from addiction and the mental health challenges he faced following the death of his late brother Joshua.
Joshua inspired Levi to push beyond his limits on SAS Who Dares Wins and make their family proud. The Joshua Levi Foundation is the next step on Levi’s journey – a charity providing free mental health services and support for people to become stronger and more resilient in their emotional wellbeing.
The Joshua Levi foundation provides access to private counselling, group therapy and wellbeing retreats for people living with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief or supporting a family member with a terminal illness.

SAS Who Dares Wins

Being selected as a recruit fulfilled a long-held ambition for former lorry driver Levi. Focused on the PARAS as a school leaver, his facial tattoos dashed hopes of a military career. At the age of 22, Levi’s life spiralled out of control after his brother Joshua’s sudden death in September 2013.

Taking part in SAS Who Dares Wins was symbolic of Levi’s mental and physical recovery from years of addiction, which began as a coping mechanism through trauma and grief.

He says:

"After the loss of Joshua, my family had witnessed me at my lowest point in life. I wanted to prove to my them how far I'd come."

"Levi believes we all have catalysts that motivate us to do better in our lives"

"Sometimes it takes being at rock bottom for us to really elevate ourselves into a positive place"

"SAS Who Dares Wins was about finding a part of me that I lost and finding the mental resilience to push harder and further to become the best version of myself I could possibly be. It was all about how far you can push yourself when you have nothing left. It’s something I’ve taken with me and apply to my life every day."

"Not that long before, I had given up on myself and my life. For me, taking part in SAS Who Dares Wins was the ultimate stage of Operation Rebuild. "
